If you want to get away from the bustle of city of Athens take a full-day tour through the iconic Peloponnese peninsula Your ride will begin with your pick up by your English-speaking driver from your accommodation in Athens. The first stop will be at the Corinth Canal. There you may observe this man made spectacular site which connects the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian sea with the Saronic Golf in the Aegean sea. Being one of the smallest canals (80 meters in depth, 6.3 km long and 23 meters wide) the Corinth canal is a site to remember for sure Then you will then head to the Ancient Corinth where St. Paul preached to the people in 51AD! Except for the vibes of Agora where the first Christians were witnessed the testimony, the Temple of Apollo is definitely a monument you have to visit. You will then head to the city of the Agamemnon Mycenae. This amazing historic city will leave you just astonished. There you will walk through the Lion’s Gate and enter Agamemnon’s king throne room, explore the tombs, and visit the fantastic on-site museum.

Next stop will be the port town of Nafplio There you may enjoy the numerous cafes restaurants’ and local shops where you can find handcrafts and anything you wish for! After shopping and your lunch have some time to take a stroll at the lovely Venetian quarter, and the Castle of Palamidi to gaze the exceptional view!

Then you will be driven through the olive fields and orchards historical sites of Theatre of Epidaurus. Be prepared for an amazing vibe of the ancient Greek Spirit which will surround you! There you will find the Shrine of Asklepios, the Theatre of Epidaurus, try the echo and explore this Greek architectural masterpiece ending the the impressive majestic Temple of Asklepios.

If there is enough time, your driver will take you up to the wonderful vineyards of Nemea winery. There you can take a tour at the wine cellars, You may also ask for a personal tour guide who help you to learn about the production of wine and you will have the opportunity to taste some of the famous Greek wine gazing out at of the vineyard.

Your tour will end returning to Athens along the same relaxing route, and your driver for the day will drive you back at your hotel or apartment.
